New Friends

Finding a church can be a difficult, time consuming experience. It often takes a great deal of perseverance, especially if you are looking for a church after moving into a new community. Usually, you can only visit one, or possibly two churches a week, so the search for a church can drag out over a period of months. That’s why we at KLC are certain to be an instrument of the communion of God with His people.

We create expectations, hopes, dreams, and Challenge to inspire our congregation, bringing in and connecting with new people. Every member is a recruiter and a fisherman.

One becomes a member of the Church through Faith and Baptism. All are invited to become part of our KLC.

Jesus Christ said, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). At KLC We lay down our lives every time we put someone else’s needs before our own. (And the “friends” mentioned in the scripture above can be understood to be everyone we meet, since Jesus also commanded us to “love one another.”)

Church members have many opportunities to serve. We believe in small acts of kindness for our neighbors, take part in community service, fulfill responsibilities within our local congregations or contribute to the Church’s large-scale humanitarian efforts. These actions, whether great or small, let us feel the happiness of connecting with our brothers and sisters and remind us that God often allows us to be the answer to someone else’s prayers.
