Our Lord Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a righteous life free from any sin or guilt, and his ministry was for three years in Israel before being crucified by the Romans. He is our lord and saviour who died for our sins after three days of his crucifixion he was miraculously resurrected after three days by the power of the Holy Spirit from the dead, and seen by 500 followers, shortly afterwards, ascended to heaven to prepare a place for us and will return and receive us unto him.
During his life on earth, Jesus had the ability to forgive sins, the power to expel demons, raise the dead, heal the sick and gave sight to the blind and many more miracles.
Jesus taught His disciples to teach the modest, historically true message about the life and teaching of the humble carpenter’s stepson from Nazareth. Jesus declared a new life through faith in the power of God, based on conviction that Jesus is the Son of God and savior of those who believe in Him, confirmed by the power of His resurrection.
Jesus humbled himself, became a servant, and thus changed the course of human events forever. Apostle Paul explained it like this: Phil 2:5-11 – “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
